Rajeev all the way!

Actor Rajeev Khandelwal who was once considered as Shah Rukh Khan of small screen and made his film debut with the 2008 flick Aamir, Wants to explore new and challenging roles. With his latest edgy thriller 'Table No 21' ready to hit the silver screens on 4th January 2013, Rajeev sounds very confident and excited.

Rajeev says, `It is the first film of the 2013 and it's definitely not going to remind you of anything that you have seen in the past. Every character is multidimensional and the layers keep getting uncovered as the film progresses.

As far as the concept of 21 is concerned, it has a deep relation with the Article 21 of our Constitution, you'll see the connection when you watch the film.` The actor also seems to shy away from doing Rom-Com's and has a very unusual and different take on it as he adds "I don't want to do romantic comedies and films that are being done in dozens, everyone's doing these film and we have been watching these films for the longest time.

I would rather let these films be handled by those who are veterans in this genre and would rather be a part of the movement which is at least attempting to give something new and aims in adding variety to the industry.`

The actor is very much satisfied with the way his career has been shaping up so far, He further concludes `The journey has been very smooth and I am very happy with the way it has happened, but at the same time I haven't moved away from TV. Whenever I get a good offer, I'd be happy to take it up.`
